Meet Tyler

ATTORNEY

Tyler is an Associate Attorney at Smolker Mathews, P.A. Tyler has a background in handling a variety of civil litigation matters throughout the state of Florida. Prior to joining Smolker Mathews, Tyler worked as an attorney at a large law firm specializing in general civil trial practice and insurance defense matters. He is admitted to the Florida Bar and the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida.

A Florida native, Tyler attended Florida State University where he obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science with Minors in Business and Sociology. Tyler went on to receive his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Stetson University College of Law.

While attending law school, Tyler served as an Articles & Symposia Editor for the Stetson Law Review. He worked as a Judicial Intern to the Honorable Cory J. Ciklin, Florida Fourth District Court of Appeal. Tyler was an active member of the Phi Delta Phi International Legal Honor Society and the Entertainment & Sports Law Society. He also received the William F. Blews Pro Bono Service Award for performing outstanding pro bono service.

Outside of practicing law, Tyler enjoys spending time with his family and friends, watching FSU football games, golfing, boating, and playing basketball.
